CanniCorner: HKS (Mystery Genetics)

AROMA: There is a very deep "purp" smell to it with an interesting sweet fruity essence. It actually reminds me a little bit of Blackberry Kush, but with a much deeper earthiness to it. It kind of feels like I can smell soil...but a sweet, deep earth soil smell. It's a great smelling strain.

TASTE: This strain smokes extremely well and has a very deep earthiness to it. The sweet flavor is very faint, and even the purp taste disappears. In all honesty the flavor is a bit lacking compared to the aroma, but it is still rather tasty. The positive is that there is absolutely no bad aftertastes whatsoever, so the creamy smoke isn't too thick. It's actually a pallette cleanser in a way... It sounds odd, I know, but try this out to see.

LOOK: This strain looks absolutely amazing. The nugs are very dense with great popcorn nug structure with a great manicure. They are also extremely frosty, covered in trichomes with excellent structure, and very bulbous caps. There are so many trichomes that they cover one of the most attractive parts of this strain: the vibrant purple streaks in the calyxes and leaves. The transition between green and purple is so fluid that it's more of a "gurple" (says krs420), and I agree. It's an amazing looking strain, and looks like a purple 2010.

EFFECTS: This strain has very good medicinal qualities, and a relatively gradual onset. It took a few minutes for it to kick it, but when it did I felt relaxed and free of back pain. It also made me hungry, even though I just ate dinner... It isn't a "stoney" strain by any means, but it has ridiculous medicinal qualities. It is, however, extremely relaxing and puts one in a carefree mindset. Great for stress relief, pain relief, appetite gain, and sleep aid...like I said it's a great medicinal strain. Great nighttime strain.

This HKS is another closely guarded, "take it to the grave", secret strains coming out of GSPA. I know for 100% that it is NOT Hong Kong Star though...heh. It's a great strain for anyone looking for the medicinal advantages of a high quality cannabis strain...great strain. It might not be the best for people looking for that "stoney", couch lock, blitzed out high though. It's on a completely different level than the last batch they had, and are world's apart. I was happy with the last batch, but this one........for someone with old man knees and back, I'm very happy.
