AROMA: Great combination of hefty pine and a strong lemon diesel, this Holy Grail is definitely a potent OG cut with classic characteristics. The scent is pungent from the nugs, and only gets stronger once they are ground up. After a deep inhale the lemon diesel takes hold of the scent over the pine, but still has an almost ocean breeze like sensation to it. Great smelling OG strain, and a pungent Holy Grail batch.
TASTE: The flavor of this strain is almost an inverse of the scent, as the lemon diesel taste takes a backseat to a hefty pine flavor. The smoke is extremely thick and creamy, and has a lot of lung expansion. There is more than a few chest clearing coughs, and the smoke leaves a light lemon aftertaste on the tongue. In all honesty the flavor isn't as good as the smell, as the heavy pine overpowers everything else, and the slight harshness is a bit rough on the throat.
LOOK: Popcorn nug structure with light green coloring, the plump calyxes fail to hide the "angry" bright orange hairs that shoot in almost every direction. The calyxes are still ridiculously plump, and are absolutely covered in trichomes. The sugar leaves are a darker shade of green, and are cut close to the nugs. It's an attractive strain of OG with a great look to it.
EFFECTS: Hefty indica effect with a couch lock sensation, the body high overpowers the entire body and relaxes it completely. It becomes very easy to zone out while watching TV with this strain, as the cerebral sensation causes a very "stoney" sensation. There is a slight sativa kick that keeps the mind awake but only that, the rest of the high is indica heavy. Good for pain relief, stress relief, relaxation, and appetite gain. Good midday to nighttime strain, and good for sleep aid in higher doses.
