CanniCorner: Plush Berry (Black Cherry Soda x Space Queen)

AROMA: There is a ridiculously sweet aroma to this strain, but it is hard to pinpoint exactly where the sweet side is coming from. It smells a bit like a tangy Blackberry with a slight pine undertone. I've never had Black Cherry Soda, but have had Space Queen, so it is safe for me to assume that the sweetness comes from the BCS. Regardless of where the aroma originates from it is a sweet smelling sativa with a fruity side that is extremely pleasant to smell.

TASTE: The extreme sweet side translates from the aroma onto the taste, but the pine undertone becomes a strong pine flavor. The balance between the sweet and pine in the thick smoke give it a nice texture, and a great aftertaste. The lung expansion is there, but interestingly doesn't cause much coughing. It can be felt filling the lungs nicely, and exhales smoothly. The flavor doesn't quite match up to the surprisingly sweet aroma, but is still a great tasting strain.

LOOK: Long sativa foxtail nug structure with light green nugs and sugar leaves, there are streaks or purple throughout some of the leaves and calyxes. The calyxes are plump, but the long and thick pistils still come screaming out of them. The bright orange hairs fill the cavities of the nugs nicely, and give it a classic sativa landrace like look. Great looking sativa strain that has an almost "angry" look to it.

EFFECTS: Although, genetically, Plush Berry is an indica dominant hybrid, this particular batch seems to be a nicely balance hybrid. The gradual onset takes time to fully kick in, and definitely "creeps" up on you. There is both a heavy and relaxing indica effect with a euphoric and cerebral sativa effect. The body high puts one into a relaxed, almost comatose, state from head to toe. The euphoric side to the head high has a calming effect that is perfect for stress relief and relaxation. Great for stress relief, pain relief, appetite gain, and possibly anxiety. Great anytime strain, and good nighttime strain in higher doses.

Plush Berry, from TGA Genetics, is a combination of Black Cherry Soda and Space Queen. It is a kush hybrid with potent medicinal qualities, and a great "stoney" side to it too. TGA Genetics provide powerhouses with their strains, and this Plush Berry is no exception to that rule.
